Mykel…a brief history

From that tender age of 14…Michael Dicus knew he was destined to sing for the world, to dance for the uninspired and give to the receiving.  Oh yea that’s fer real… ha!

Born in the east bay of San Francisco, California, Mykel (aka Michael Dicus) caught on to his love for singing when he successfully quieted an auditorium of the toughest teenagers a high school could endure when he sang his first duet ...

Mykel moved through high school into doing every musical he was cast in and writing all the melodies his mind and fingers could conjure. Mykel finally took a leap of faith and found himself at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy with his eyes on the lights of Broadway… After a few years of national tours, cruise ships, off-off Broadway experimental theater intertwined with his passion for songwriting and his flavor for alternative rock, Mykel  evolved as a recording artist…an innovative entertainer!
